Another one leaked from The Walkmen’s upcoming album ‘Heaven’, listen to “We Can’t Be Beat”

Since the beginning of April, I have been waiting, with anticipation (I know it’s not that long), for the release of The Walkmen‘s new album Heaven. Been stoked on it since I heard the album titled song, “Heaven”, been jamming that pretty much on a daily basis. I’m always referring to “feel good” music and I can’t mention enough that we need more of this flavor, possibly a genre for it. Like a ‘positive-inspirational-winning-feel-good’ music genre, or something… what do you think?
Enjoy! And catch them at Lollapalooza 2012.

“Do” by Colin Caulfield Young Man

Vol. 1, which will be released May 22, is a current project Collin Caulfield and Young Man have been working hard on. You can definitely tell the work he put in as you hear the new song “Go”, that was released today from the upcoming album. Love the subtle approach that Caulfield showed in this song. He slows things up and speeds them back up, to give you that surprise, burst of energy your needing.

Chromatics- “Birds Of Paradise” (Amtrac Remix)

Really good remix of  Chromatics “Birds of Paradise”, the Amtrac remix. Starts off very funky, and progresses into a smooth poppy-jazzy-dance beat. Great music to hang out to and work ou to, with its changes in tempo. Listen and enjoy here…

Bill Callahan’s version of Mickey Newbury’s “Heaven Help The Child” (Video)

Amazing rendition of “”Heaven Help The Child” that Bill Callahan does in this song/video. Reminds me a little of Johnny Cash and Hank Williams.
Enjoy!
