Debut Album- ‘Dry Land Is Not A Myth’ from White Arrows- Listen to “Roll Forever”

Los Angeles is home to many different types of sounding bands, including the White Arrows and their futuristic-psychedelic-pop, treble thumping music. I can definitely imagine them at some outdoor music festivals this summer… it’s just so fitting for that outdoor venue, somewhere in the mountains. Listen to “Roll Forever” and grab the album later this summer…

Another one leaked from The Walkmen’s upcoming album ‘Heaven’, listen to “We Can’t Be Beat”

Since the beginning of April, I have been waiting, with anticipation (I know it’s not that long), for the release of The Walkmen‘s new album Heaven. Been stoked on it since I heard the album titled song, “Heaven”, been jamming that pretty much on a daily basis. I’m always referring to “feel good” music and I can’t mention enough that we need more of this flavor, possibly a genre for it. Like a ‘positive-inspirational-winning-feel-good’ music genre, or something… what do you think?
Enjoy! And catch them at Lollapalooza 2012.

Mike Scheidt slows things way down with new song “In Your Light”

Lead singer, Mike Scheidt, of metal band YOB, has taken things into his own hands and has delivered fans something very out of the norm, from what they are used to hearing. “In Your Light”, is in fact a very light song, with melodic acoustic guitars and some back up vocals that bring such a sweet sound to life. Get the new album May 15, Stay Awake.
