How did I miss this from Tuesdays new releases?!?! My only excuse is that I’m human.
M.i has dropped a ridiculously dope record today titled The Coldplay Sessions. He masterly samples Coldplay songs, mixing them with upbeat tempos, and directing the project all on his own. The acoustic guitar amongst other musical instrument heard throughout the record, give M.i such a distinguished sound. Try a few off his new track below… and download the rest for free HERE.

Copywrite drops a new song from his highly anticipated new album “God Save the King” dropping Feb 28th. He recruited some of my favorite artists from across the nation on this one. If you don’t know Copy check him out. He has been putting out great Hip Hop for years and from what I hear this album is going to be pretty amazing.
“Hallways” will have you jumping out of your bones, literally. Not only is the video impressive but Nick Thorburn’s proficiency on the ivory keys is impeccable. According to Beats per Minute, co-director Lex Halaby, had a few words to say about the clip…
“From the beginning we talked with Nick about making a video that’s equal parts funny and creepy. Nick he brought up the Max Fleischer cartoons of the 1930s as a source of inspiration. ‘The Skeleton Dance’ (1929) caught our eye and sparked the concept. We loved the idea of bringing an entire skeleton band to life. We also wanted an animated world that looked more like stop motion animation. The skeleton puppets were brought to life by four puppeteers; each one controlling the arms, legs, torso, and head. It was a team effort in every single shot.”
