According to NME, Brandon Flowers says that “We don’t want to make ‘Hot Fuss 2′ or ‘Sam’s Town 2′, or ‘Day & Age 2′. We’ll maybe take all that stuff, the best of all of it and do what we know how to do.” Rumors have it that the album will have more guitar and drums.
Flowers couldn’t say when to expect the album this year, but said to watch for their first track “Battle Born” to be released soon. Until then, here’s a little something I found, for U2!
Their music video for “Gold On The Ceiling” is not yet released (well it is, but on a so called music video channel/site, which has tuned into a 24/7 reality show channel), so I thought that this amazing performance on the Letterman show would do more than fine for now.
The Black Keys have brought rock ‘n’ roll back to the 2000′s, and have people all over dying to see them play live. Well they will be playing across the U.S. beginning in March. Hoping they will sneak in or extend a show in Cali…

Just in time for cupid’s holiday, Sir Paul McCartney has done a brilliant job, surprising fans with his new jazzy sound from his latest album Kisses on the Bottom. “My Valentine” reminds us of Nat King Cole’s “My Funny Valentine” and features the always stunning Eric Clapton.
The newly released album also includes other artists like Stevie Wonder, Elvis Costello, and Diana Krall.
On a side note keep your eyes and ears open for more news about a possible Beatles reunion, with Paul and Ringo at the 2012 Olympics in London… KEEP THOSE FINGERS CROSSED!!!
“Tho I know I’ll never lose affection, for people and things that went before… I know I’ll often think about them, in my life I love you more.”-Beatles
thanks, Felix the Hat

Riot’s founding member and guitarist Mark Reale passed away from Crohn’s disease January 26. His contribution to the metal scene will forever live on and inspire bands for decades. Hope your shredding it up with the other rocker-legends up there. Here’s a more recent song to remember his passing…
“Chupacabra” features Capone-N-Noreaga, with Raekwon from his latest mixtape, Unexpected. Really enjoying the beat to this…
